Please join us at the Bega Valley Innovation Hub to hear from Brad Twynham on how to develop adaptive leadership for continuous change and developing radical open mindedness.

For those of you who don’t know him, Brad is a technology entrepreneur, strategy consultant and Investor/Board Director with over 25 years working and consulting in the areas of Enterprise Technology adoption and enterprise operating model transformation, neural networks, block chain and artificial intelligence.

He currently runs a Thought Leadership and Consulting Practice focused on Corporate Innovation and is an Incubator Facilitator within the Entrepreneurs Program run by the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science.

 

First Hour:

Living in the Gap: How to Develop Adaptive Leadership for Continuous Change

We are entering a decade of continuous change, if you are feeling the rate of change accelerate it is for very good reason. It is! How do we prepare for this? What does it mean? and What Skills are Required to Navigate a Business Environment of accelerated change and disruption? This keynote will explore:

  • The meta-trends that are speeding up the rate of change.
  • The emergence of AQ (Adaptability Quotient) as the key determinant of success in an environment of continuous change.
  • The 3 Core Soft Skills required to develop an adaptable mindset.

 

Second Hour:

Interactive Workshop: Radical Open Mindedness

One of the key skills for developing a high AQ is that of Radical Open Mindedness. Retraining the brain to resist our default reaction and allow new or uncomfortable ideas to sit in our mind just long enough to take seed. In this interactive workshop we will explore:

  1. What Radical Open Mindedness is
  2. How we can retrain our brain to re-route new and uncomfortable ideas
  3. A simple three step process to develop Radical Open Mindedness within yourself and your clients
